Thank you
I’ve come to believe that two of the hardest feelings in the world are being misunderstood and overlooked.
Even though I grew up around golf, I never really felt like I belonged in its culture. The exclusivity, the formality—it always seemed to be speaking to someone else. And so, even while standing on the course, I often felt invisible. I know I’m not the only one.
From the very beginning, one of the core visions behind Good Lion has been to create a space where people—whether they’ve played golf their whole lives or have never picked up a club—can feel seen. To us, this brand has always been more than apparel. It’s a redemptive act.
It’s easy to criticize, but we’re not here to simply call out what’s wrong; we are building from a place of love and renewal, to see this most beautiful game continue to grow. In a world of wack algorithms and influencer noise, we’re holding onto what’s good.
As we marked another year of Good Lion over the weekend, I found myself overwhelmed with gratitude: For the people, the stories, the community that’s emerged around all of this. If you’re reading this, you’re part of it.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for rocking with us.
It might not always be safe—but may it always be good
Peace.
